Last week the battery in my Punto 1.2 (y reg) died after big freeze. It was a time to change it. Nice AA man arrived and replaced the battery. All worked fine.....for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes Engine Management Light came on. I have been told that I should drive for a few days for ECU to re-learn.
Its still there.. It starts to flash when Im accelerating. I have been reading all the posts and it looks like it might be spark plugs. Im not sure but to be honest i dont want to pay a 50 pounds just to plug into the computer. Does anyone know any place that they can do a quick scan for free (East, North London up to Hertford) to establish what is really wrong. Its important as Im not sure if Im going to repair it this time again...If it will be to expensive then i think I will make myself a present for a New Year. Maybe another Fiat?
