Hi,

I bought one from Maplin a couple of years ago but it was rubbish and didn't work so took it back and has put me off buying central locking

But I am now thinking of getting it again, I have searched around but see lots of different and some outdated suggestions

So does any one know what my options are? The best one for the punto? Reliable? From experience?

Don't mind if it's remote or not.

i dnt mate, i was just told my a mehnaic when i had my mot that hawk where the best kits

lol it will be fine i think there a guide in the punto section on how to fit the hawk kits

Quiet a few People have done Hawk Kits
They Seems to be okay

I put a Right Click CL system in
Practically same, except i have a key on my Fobs
fobs work fine - but cause there not coded to my he wont start unless i use original Key

I just realised, my punto says 8V.

Does this mean it won't work because it says requires 12V on all the kits??

Also, the Right Click one does look much better, considering cancelling order and changing

With the right click does it make your indicators flash to let you know when you lock / unlock, and do you get boot release? And hawk doesn't do this?

Edit: Never mind... they are all to convert from manual CL

Don't panic, the 8v relates to the number of valves in your engine. The requirement for 12v relates to voltage and is correct for your car.

240V is something entirely different. )
