Hi Guy's and Gal's,
Driving along today, and the power assisted steering failure light came on, and stayed on.
The power steering felt fine, no different.
Now usually I would panic, but, about this time last year, in the same cold and wet weather conditions, the same thing happened with the power assisted steering failure light. I took my Punto to my local garage, the mechanics took 'her' for a spin, and no warning light appeared, and infact the warning light did not appear again until today.
Now I know my car does have it's own 'eccentricity's' which FIAT's are renowned for. I am also aware of FIAT's detesting cold damp British weather, so I wondered if it's condensation on the electrics that could be causing this?
So, has this happened to anyone else? Can this be explained, or do I have another mysterious electrical fault.
Kind regards to all.
