Right so ive not ran my car for about 2 weeks due to no tax so the battery went flat so ive been charging it all day today and decided to take it for a run now that its taxed and when i started it up the EML is now on but i havnt got a clue why
Not sure what usually causes it to come on so havnt got a clue what to do
Its running really rough too like when i ease off the gas it bunnyhops a lot
Any ideas anyone? Its really annoying! :bang:
Btw my car is a 1.2 16v Sporting punto mk2

Could be anything from a Mis-fire
to a Sensor Reading on emisions

Running Rough Suggests a Miss Fire or a blocked Injector or something along the lines of

Tbh your walking into a haystack to find a needle
Get fault codes read to tell whats going wrong

Service the car properly , fit new plugs and leads and you'll have a fighting chance of finding the fault.

The management light is on because of the missfire, its seeing unburnt fuel in the exhaust and can't sort it.

Im getting the codes read and a full service on wednesday so hopefully it will be sorted then
