Styling Aftermarket radio installation

I got a brand new MUTANT MT2300BT CD/MP3 PLAYER with Black Fascia Panel

just installed it, but the cage thingy that the radio sits in inside the hole is still showing. just can't push the radio in any more.

is this a common problem with new radios on puntos?

just have to get the black marker pen out i think

also, the fascia don't sit in properly. the clips seem too small

oh, also is it normal for the radio still to be playing after the keys are taken out. the original radio and this new one does it. all my previous cars never did this. once the key out out, the raio was off

Yes the radio stays on even when the key is off!

Pull the radio back out and check none of the wires are getting in the way. Mine kept doing that and it was just the wires and connector blocks stopping it. Make sure they are all tucked in nicely

Use a multimeter to work out which wire is switched from the ignition and which is constant live & connect these according to the radio's instructions.
