Im looking at lowering my punto mk2 and then eventually getting some alloys im thinking of going for 16's but iv heard 16'2 will end up costing more than 17's becasue of the tyres and also iv seen a lot of people mentioning lowering there punto about 45 or 50 but all of the lowering kits iv found say around 25-30 so where can i get these kits to lower it more and what reccomendations would you have about what size alloys to get!!​

-Tyres for 17" wheels usually are cheaper than tyres for 16"
-I think its PI springs that lower mk2s 50mm (someone correct me )
-What engine size is your Punto and what driving do you mostly do? ie motorway/town

i think they only drop by 40mm

yeah pi do a 50mm lowering kit or springs, i got the springs and im running on 205/40 17's

I've got 15's on mine and am planning to lower 35mm - should look fine to me.

If you mostly do town driving the 17's shouldnt cause too many problems in terms of performance, but its your choice

Ive seen a mk2 with 16's and a drop (dont know how much) and it looked fine and ive put my old 15's on mine with a 35mm drop and that didnt look bad either. But I wouldnt take the 17's off.......
