HI me and my mechanic have swapped my fiat punto sporting mk2 engine with a hgt 1.8 engine along with brakes,fan, exhaust etc.

The flippin car wont start. we have swapped the engine wiring loom,the ecu, the fuse box, the ignition barrel from the hgt and transponder. What can I do now someone please Help me it would be much appreciated.

Obviously the timing belt, crank and cam sensors are all ok.
Make sure the fuel is flowing. The fuel pumps seem to act up at the best of times.
DO NOT touch the accelerator while turning the key or it will crank for ever and never start.

Thanks for the reply, i could check the fuel pumps i suppose, nah i wasnt touching any pedals.

i also forgot to mention, the engine is turning over but wont go any further. Also the key code light stays on on the dash when key is turned

any other suggestions ppl? much appreciated
