has anyone else had this problem?

situation :

when lights are on i get this clicking noise coming from inside the dash near the dials!

indicators, fog lights, full beam and turning heater up effects this clicking noise.

but the weird thing is when the wipers go the noise stops...

under the bonnet a noise is coming from the wiper motor and the wiper rod that connects to the wipers shake with this noise...

also when i take out on red relay in the fuse box in driver foot well the noise stops but wipers dont work i have tried replacing this and the noise didnt stop!

This is a real mystery ...and its driving me crazy please help me someone! :bang:

I had the same problem with my 2001 1.2 ELX - And yes it did my head in :bang:

I never got to the bottom of the problem - I assumed it was a wiper motor problem ... Traded the car in in the end and got my Stilo .

iv got the same problem, its apparently the wiper stork itself which has got a bad connection chek these threads:

ur wipers may stop workin after a wile and that wont be the motor its the stork itself because of a bad connection, i suggest u get it chekd asap because i had alot of difficulty with the parts and stuff, but its fine now. when u get the part make sure u connect both wiper connectors and light connectors to th epart or els it wont work.
