want to fit some adjustable coilovers on my mk2 hgt does anyone of a good make to buy and ones that are not over priced

Yer pays yer money etc. There are some cheapies on eBay.

They will work fine but probably wear and corrode quicker than posher brands. When they do, buy some new ones. Alternatively get the plated parts plated over to give more protection.

Thats a good price for them! (y)

Ive had my FK kit on my bravo for over 2 years now, and they are still pristine. Granted I do clean them every now and then, but theres no sign of rust or corrosion at all. Also, the adjusters are still perfect and not chewed up at all (which i have had happen with some more expensive kiits) despite the fact they have been adjusted several times.

I'm thinking about getting some coilovers for my HGT as the suspension is past its best.

What is the FK ride like? I like my spring rates so would not want them stiffer but could do with better damping. Is the FK much stiffer than standard?

On my bravo the FK's are SLIGHTLY stiffer than standard, however I have a t-jet 150 sport which has a fairly stiff setup to start with. But overall im impressed with them! certainly on the same level as the spax setup i have on my impreza.

The T-Jet 150 would be my car of choice. The petrol howl at high revs is nice, but I just love the diesel pull in midrange - its like a catapult behind the car
