I put my 04 punto in the garage this morning and my courtesy car is a Brava 1.6 16V ELX. Not very nice interior compared to my punto and quite hard to drive compared to the punto but it is quite a fast car.

My punto had a problem with its radiator so I think they are replacing it.

At least it's a sensible car.

My Dad put his Mazda 6 in and got a FIAT Idea for 2 weeks, after being promisied a Mazda 3, he was not a happy bunny.

I felt sorry for the receptionist, but the manager just refused to even speak to him!

I think it's a joke of a car! lol!

It was quite funny as I went to visit my parents where my bro also still lives.

On the drive was no Mazda 6 (My Dads) and no Passat (My bros) but a FIAT Idea and Renault Modus.

We went burning up in the modus, handbraking every corner, was damn good fun.

That's one good thing about courtesy cars, you give them back ;)

After handing over the keys for my Punto 16v service, MOT, cambelt, brakes and alternator change this morning, I got given a turbo'd courtesy car......

But it was in an L reg Fiat Tempra SW estate 1.9 TD - but has a digital dash, like some sort of early 90s speak'n'spell :)

Just after getting my brand new punto active, I had to take the car into the garage twice for some work. The first courtesy car they gave me was an Alfa 147 turbo diesel, and the second time it was a punto 1.9 turbo diesel - both were great fun to drive, but the punto was better.

So I'm not the only one who's brought a "duff" Punto. I'm just so sick of my car at the moment I want to drive it into a wall. Yesterday I had a humming noise coming from the dashoard if I revved the car, Today it's gone! Also I've just found that my supension "groans" when going over speed humps. Bloody Fiat.......
