2008 duelogic punto
after driving over a second speed hump at 25kmph with both hands on the steering wheel I hear a crunch and suddenly the car is in reverse.
Car not alowing me to put it into gear i had to turn the car on and off 3 times before it would allow me to change gears.
since then the car will stop quite suddenly and without warning and the gearbox light shows.
As it is under warranty it has been towed 3 times and each time it is claimed to be fixed the same problem occurs within days. The car has been with Fiat technicians in a workshop for the past six weeks and as yet a solution has not been found. we are now waiting for a complete wiring harness to arrive from Italy. however I have been given warning that this may not fix the problem
Please if anyone has heard of a similar problem leyt me know as I want to be able to use the car I have paid for
