Technical Jacking Points

Technical Jacking Points

Front jacking point is the bottom of the transmission housing, put the axle stands on the scissor jacking points underneath the sills (look for the arrows on the sill). At the rear, jack up using the middle of the rear beam, and use the rear scissor jacking points for the stands. Use a block of wood on the trolley jack to minimise damage to the car.

Whatever you do, do not use those things that look like jacking points underneath behind the sills. My older car was well ventilated after using one of those, and putting a jack through the floor!
