Hi,
I'm having trouble finding performance ignition leads for this car. What you suggest? Can I use for another car? Mk1 1.2 16v, Mk2 1.2 16v or other?
For the spark plugs I´m thinking in Denso Iridium ones...
Thanks

I have heard that Iridium plugs are not the best for performance, they are actually used simply to give stupidly long service intervals. For performance, silver-based plugs are better, but do not last so long.

I would imagine that the leads for the mk2 Sporting 1.2 16v would probably fit. The engines are very similar.

Thanks! I also think that ingition leads of mk2 1.2 16v fit perfectly..
Which ones are better, Magnecor kv85 or K1 performance HT leads?

Doesn't really matter, won't make a blind bit of difference compared to a new set of std leads on a std engine but for the sake of argument, Magnecor KV85 every time. It's the only lead we used on our race engines.

Has a coil pack in each cylinder on each spark plug like most german cars have had for years.

As for spark plugs just buy shop4parts part no: S4P2363

Do not be fooled into buying part no: S4P1048 although they will fit and the engine will work they will ruin economy and loose performance.

And due to the coil pack sitting ontop of the plugs its a complete falso economy running "performance" plugs as the fiat specification ones are made from the same material (hence the higher price than the ones for the 1.2 16v).

Thanks! :worship:
I can only use stock sprak plugs? Or can I also use Denso Iridium Spark plugs?
