i've just installed a 600w amp with two 300w 12" subs in my punto boot. I wired it all exactly how the amp wiring kit (600w) said to. Thing is when i switch off the engine and the stereo the amp is still on, meaning i have to disconnect it's power supply every time i leave the car or the battery will go dead! can anyone help me with what the wiring problem might be, as it doesn't look too good having to jump in the boot everytime i pull up!

Your amp should have a "remote" contact, you connect this to a blue wire that comes from the back of most stereos. When you turn the stereo off the amp turns off too.

the blue wire will probably be marked 'Aerial' and is normally used to raise/lower an automatic aerial.
