Hi guys,

First things first, I have a 5dr mk2 and want to add CC bumpers/possibly skirts from a sporting. Would I have to have bumpers from a 5dr or would ones from a 3dr fit just as well?

It seems really hard to find any bumpers for a 5 dr

Also my (possibly) stupid question is:

If you smoke your rear lights, indicators and whatever does the light still get through okay?

EDIT: seeing this written down makes it seem even more stupid, but just making sure

Front bumper can be from 5 door or 3 door. Doesn't matter. Back bumber has to be from a 5 door.

Tinting the lights depends on how dark. Light tints the light will still be fine, going for a heavy tint you may need to buy brighter bulbs.
If you coat the inside of the cluster with reflective paint (if there is such a thing) it will reflect the lights brighter.
As the lights age they loose the reflective surface they have on the inside of the cluster.
An LED light cluster for the punto has a very reflective surface so would be better (can't remember the name of the unit though, similar to lexus lights - they look horrible standard but tinted look same as standard but with LED bulbs )

So, front bumper should'nt be a problem as there are loads on ebay. I just can't change the front and leave the rear though :/ Will just have to keep searching I guess.

So with the lights, does a light tint look good? Or would I be better going for the darker with LED lights? In your opinion obviously.

you have to leave the reflector showing, to pass it MOT.

Ahh forgot about reflectors, get the bumper from a 5 door mk2b and it has reflectors on it already! Then you can tint the whole light

yeah i have some weird colour that no-one else here seems to have so it would be a spray jobby

I'm not made of money one thing at a time lol and first would be bumpers.
Any idea how much a respray of the bumper would cost?

how are you guys so good at finding things?

I suppose the red one may mean I dont need to respray, but then again it might not and its more expensive.

In your opinions which should I go for?

Get the red one and if you want to tint the whole rear light then buy a bit of reflective tape and put it on the black strip on the bumper

Very easy and since I'm in a good mood because I just won a punto for £250 I'll take a look for you aswell

Hmm none in your colour, I'd go for the 3 door one personnaly though, they look much better! I'm after cc'd bumpers for my car but no look yet

All seem to be rear bumpers on eBay so all FIAT drivers must have Head on collisions rather than others going into them

My spoiler, side skirts, wing mirrors and both bumpers are off different cars, and the colour match is fine. Just have a look in person before you buy.
