This clunking noise every time i open my door is getting louder and louder and louder!!!! i came on here searched it and it came up with something called the check strap broke etc i tried taking the speaker cover off about 5000 different bloody screws (why are Fiat so bloody complicated) :bang::bang::bang: took it off (eventually)...... couldn't see a bloody thing!!!! how much would it be if i just took it somewere and said sort that out cause i would end up in K2 if i did this myself when i do a job it can never be just STRAIGHT forward always has to be a screw bent or something welded together so ANNOYED!!! :bang:

Assuming the bolts are tight.

Take old roll pin out, insert new roll pin. simples

What you mean the nut and bolt with the complete flat head take that out and replace tighten up and should sort it out? it does look loose to me to be honest but we tried taking the bolt of and it was just turning not coming off!!

I had same prblem the other day, unless replacing whole check strap you don't need the door card off.

Mine came loose on the actual door. Open and close the door while looking at all of it and see it anywhere moves.

Mine was coming away from the door. 5.5mm allen key and tighten the top screw, all done
