hi

i may be getting a custom made stainless steel inductio kit piping, i was thinkin of it bein like the GSR kit same route.

I have a 1.2 8v where does the GSR go??

i know it goes down low to near front bumper but not sure which side of engine and route and where it stops??

Also where is best place to mount it with bracket?? becasue if i just clip it to the throttle body im pretty sure whn i rev it itll just pop off and no more induction kit.

i dont know much about the gsr but with the focus you use a bracket from the battery brace could possibly use that route

ah thanks mate not too bothered about the gsr route that much i just want summat simular that goes down and toward from bumper so i need to know a couple of mounting point

battery bracket is one i need one for further down now, what about a gear box bolt??

wouyld it be safe to removea gear box bolt put a bracket on it then rebolt it??

and where can i buy the silicone bend for induction piping?? from throttle body to the piping.

btw im gettin engineers to make it so i have to tell them exactly what i want so should the pipe be the exact same diametre as the throttle body or can it be bigger??

FYI - I bought all my stuff from Viper performance, a lot of it is pretty standard stuff just be sure when checking measurements that you are looking at Inner Diameter and Outer diameter properly.

yeh but will it have to be exactly same diametre as throttle body or can it be larger than the throttle body?? cos the 8v throttle bodys are pretty small unless i start small then flare it out and weld a larger diametre or summat.

BTW thanks for the viper performance tip loads of silicone bits on that

Get it with the exact same inner diameter as the tb's outer diameter. Start with a silicon elbow from tb and go from there. A quick pic of mine for comparison

Obviously I had the advantage of using that bob but you can use a bit of silicon to do the same job as that plus the bit it's joined to.
