its a filter for your breather pipe isnt it, for your crankcase ventilation, and i dunno why you find it cute lol only you have the answer to that one my friend:rolleyes:

:D I have odd fetishes I think. I don't get where abouts on the breather pipe it goes though. Doesn't the breather sort of need to be in the air box/induction pipe

Its supposed to stop the oil vapours coming out, but it wont stop any unburnt hydrocarbon fumes which is why the breather should go back to the air inlet.

these are more suitable for the rover 620 TI (turbo) and SDi (Disel turbo) If put on some other cars they reduce the performance.

Just speaking from experience as used them on friends rovers.

you know the pipe that noramlly goes into the bottom of the original air box you put this filter onto there!! on to the end of the pipe do the pipe is connected to the mini filter

breather pipe is the crack case ventilation so the it ventilates by recirculating the gases back through the throttle body through the induction stage.

i think its illegal to have the gases exposed to the atmosphere thats why they recirculate instead of spreading through the air we breathe

i think you fail mot if you have one of these filters on the breather pipe dont you because it is still allowing gases to the atmosphere
