ive got my self a pipercross induction kit from a friend but need to get myself the silicone hose to run from the throttle body, what is the diameter of my throttle body its a mk2 1.2 8v.

thanks :)

Been looking at posts for Induction kets. The latest being Mk2 specific and there are a lot of older posts.
Could anyone advise as to what kit is best for my 1.2 ELX convertible?
All feedback greatly appriciated.

Cheers

Ian :D

hi 70/75 mm

Make them up with some universal angled samco hoses and some aluminium tubing. Thats what I did on my fiesta.

thats why behind the front bumper is a good spot. not a huge amount of dirt as there is still a degree of air flow restriction but far enough away from the main heat providers to stop it sucking in hot air. mine is fitted just infront of the battery but i have "reused" the original inlet and twisted it around so its not sat on top of the engine or manifold. not fantastic, but not a bad spot really. any induction aint gunna be great if ur stuck in traffic so it all depends on how and where u drive to how affective it will be.
