Hello :)

Hope someone outthere might be able to help me.
I bought my first car, a Fiat Punto 1.2 (8v) (2001 reg) about 6 months ago. So far I have had no major problems with it, untill now.
On a few occasions the power steering light has come on, just very briefly. Yesterday it might a funny sound when I turned right. The sound isn't there constantly, but its rather annoying. As far as I can tell the noise is coming from the front (right hand side).

Anyone got an idea what it could be?

It usually is a sign that you are having problems with your electric power steering unit, take to a fiat dealer and ask them to check it out on there EXAMINER this will show if unit faulty.hope its not cos it expensive to replace

I have the same prob i think when making a sharp right hand turn there is a clunk from the front right hand side of the car. i was told it was the a joint in near the wheel that had a rubber part on it at one time and its just worn away and its hitting grinding metal.. was told it wasnt a big prob but the guy was abit of a muppet if u ask me.... :yuck:
