Hi Punto people,

I'm looking to get a K+N 57i Induction Kit for my 1.2 Active 8v 04 plate.

So far I can't find many places to buy them from, and the one I've found has a price of £75. If you could all be so kind with your knowledge on these and find me a cheaper price that would be great.
Is a little too much and I'm hesitant to buy this one at the moment.

Many Thanks.

Hmmm might have to pay this then....
Can I ask if one of these improved your car, will probably get one anyway?

Plus does anyone know anything about mod chips? and pricing?

THANKS

With an uprated exhaust and good cold air feed, yes they make the 1.2 more responsive at high revs (and sound much better)

I personally dont think the 1.2 is worth chipping. Its usually around 300quid (??) if not more to get it chipped and the benefits probably wont be that great. Wait until you have a bigger engine ;)

Thanks for your help anyway, I'll probably get the induction kit and possibly a new exhaust.

Cheers

I have a K&N 57i Induction kit, with all the pipes (minus the cold air feed) boxed, second hand, for £50

Would have probably bought that off you but I think i'm getting a BMC CDA now, they sound much better and more reliable, for the little extra cost..

Cheers anyways..
