Hi

i brought a fiat punto 2006 model in august last year. all i have had is problems non stop. the main problem is i get 2 lights that come up on that dash board one is the blue headlight & an amber light bulb. when these come up it will cause the car to either stall, change gear and it will take a good 5-10seconds for the car to speed up or try to indicate or turn my lights or indicate it will start trying to cut out & sometimes it will cut out unless i dont turn them off & lastly if i try to use my back wipers it will make a beeping sound and not work!!! :bang:

i have been to a few garages they have said it is the electrics which i gathered myself... so if someone could let me know how i can get this problem sorted i would appreciate it.

Not that i would know of. It is a Punto. before i brought it, it was in a minor crash & got whacked in the bumper so that must be part of the cause.

what woudl you advise me to do?

Thanks

I would be looking at the front for any repairs to wiring.

Yours is a digital car and requires each wire to have an exact resistance. If the wiring has been repaired, even with a solder joint, the resistance will change causing signal errors.

If there is evidence of repair you will need to replace that part of the loom.

When the problem starts i have to open the boot & get to the wiring have a mess aroung with it and tug it & then the problem will go but will come back straight away or may last for a few weeks...

Thanks

You've just answered your own question.

Sort it rather than wiggle it, I think you have a connector thats gone high resistance.
