i have a punto sporting 2001 and both exterior door handles stay up when you open the door,you have to push the exterior handle down b4 the doors will lock,are the handles on a spring,any ideas anyone,would be thankfull 4 any ideas...thank you........mark

i had same prob on my mk1 cabrio, what i did was remove door card and spray wd40 on lock/handle area and worked the handle till it free`d up it work for me , so hope same for you..
