Am I correct in thinking I have seen Mk2's that have don't have the outside lens in the Headlights blanked out ? and if so.... why ?

:( Thought the ELX was loaded !! guess mine ain't !!

Got the leck'y windows and sunshine roof....

tis a 2000 Jtd ah well, can live without, just wondering bout it.....

No I think the ELX didn't get fogs until they changed to Active/Dynamic etc in what 2002ish? The HGT would have had them, and I think there was a HLX spec higher than ELX at one point which had fog lights.

I have seen ELX's both with and without I think, it must have been an option on them maybe or possibly a selling point special offer on some. So don't worry I don't think you've been conned... but I do think Fiat were a bit stingy there all part of why they're cheap I guess!

My 2000W ELX doesn't have them either. Mk2's ELX isn't the spec it was on MK1s. No alloys, aircon or fogs. Still, it's not like it gets really foggy really often...

What do you do mpg wise in the JTD? and what kind of driving (town/country/motorway?)

Real time driving and that is 'sprited' as per the adverts 'spritio de punto' never less than 40mpg and that is crusing at 90 mph.... or about 400 miles to a £30 tank of derv.

However, I did try to be sensible once and drive as economically (how do you spell it?) as possible and got the 'puter on the dash to read 64mpg !!
