Daily on my way home from work (not on the way there, oddly enough) I have to battle with my poor Punto to keep her in lane, especially when passing trucks or going along stretches of motorway with no trees either side...

The thing is catching the wind like a sail, sometimes scares the hell out of me!

It's the M4 westbound, Swindon-Bristol which bats me about so much.

Is this common, as I swear I've never seen anyone else battle with a car as much as I have to... :(

I get blown about a bit too  I even have to put both hands on the steering wheel sometimes  Im pretty sure most other people driving smaller cars have the same problem though.

My fuel gauge seems to move down faster in the wind aswell......

It is scary especially when passing trucks - think what it must be like for the trucks! Punto's are particularly light being made largely of cardboard i believe so I guess they do suffer with the worst of them.

My letter box keeps getting blown open and shut

You have a letterbox on your car  sweet !
I've been battling against the wind also.. why is it always at the side of you and never behind ;)

ha ha... have you tried the actimel challenge ? pharrp... See if you notice the difference after 2 weeks !!!

I got my refund from them didn't notice any difference....they didn't have cctv where I live haha!!! (y) (y)

have trouble with side winds too, although if your going fast enough it doesn't seem to effect ;)

Its because puntos are quite tall and flat sided for their weight (860kg's like lotus elise light, but not cos of fancy carbon fibre and plastic windows, cos they're made from mash potato and cling film)

Hahahah, and jam, probably.

i drove over the thelwall viaduct the other day (my god, northbound.. its actually finished ). and rain was going sideways across my screen - the kinda way you see it going up and over the screen when hurtling along the m'way.

very very windy, and the cinq is only ickle. I just hid next to a truck. sorted
