i have just skimmed my head as head gasket blew and have lapped valves. When i came to put it all back together i timed it all up ok and cranked it over by hand and timing was spot on. When i turned it over by key to start it i noticed the belt had slipped by 3 notches. Just want to know if this will have bent any of the valves?And if i take head off will i need to buy new head bolts? cheers for any advice

Hi, 8v engine is non-interfierence no damage to valves will occur,if you remove head you must fit new headbolts.
