I've fitted a new variator and the engine is running nice and smooth etc..
but, because i disconnected the battery for a few days, the cd changer has packed up.
according to our dealer, the standard changer doesnt have a code you have to put in to get it working unlike the sat nav.

whats happening is when i turn the sat nav on, the no's 1 - 5 are flashing orange/green on the changer. i can't even get the cds out :(

Hi,

Just been to check and yes there is a seperate code for the disc changer in the HGT

Steve

I've had the same problem. But unless the radio screen says CODE, one of the CD's is stuck, it's nothing to do with having disconnected the battery.

I've disconnected the battery before and wasn't asked for the code for the radio/CD changer. You could try taking the radio out, disconnecting the CD player and the power, and putting it back in. That's fixed the issue for me before.

Other than that, Mr.Vardy it is :-(

Tell your local dealership to pull their finger out, as you def. need a code. It should have come with the manual along with a seperate code for the Sat Nav.

Why do fiat dealerships know Fcuk all about fiats!! That really bugs me!
