hi everyone, i was wondering if anybody could help me out as i want a new exhaust system but dont have a clue where to start looking and whats good or bad?

i would like a nice deep rumble sound thats fairly loud but not to sound like a chav. any links and advice would help alot.

thanks

P.S im new to this lol :D

is that supersprint back box or should i have a straight through pipe aswell?

cheers

yer i have been looking therer but thats like mega mega bucks lol i was hoping for quite alot cheaper than that lol but thanks

what make should i be looking at? spuersprint is good but big money

I got a Peco catback stainless system from Demon Tweeks was around £300 fitted. They do it while you wait too. It gave the car a nice growl but it`s not chavvy!!!

My HGT has a Peco cat back twin outlet (one each side) system. Not loud but with a nice howl when its revved. Receipts show it cost about £300.

The bad bit is the muppet who fitted it cut the rear bumper to clear the oversized outlets. On the HGT he could have set plain outlets into the outer holes under the bumper. Better looking and no plastic butchery. The holes are 6" x 4" FFS!!

yer that helps so much, thanks alot :D

i fink i might just get it know lol coz that sounds sweet lol.

thanks again

lol sorry another question,

u fink i should go for 3" or 4"?

also could i fit it myself or would i have to take it to a garage n get them to put it on a ramp.... say about £30 - £40 to get fitted?

cheers

Hi mate,

Erm the size of the exhaust is totally upto you ... 3" or 4" I would personally go for the 4"

To fit it i would suggest taking it to a garage as they can easily fit it ... with little hassle as they'll have ramps and you'll only yourself be able to jack it up slightly so it would involve alot of struggling :bang:

I would say £30-£60 depending on how they are with you :)

Although i would expect it to be in the middle of those estimates :spin:

hope this helps mate (y)

P.s Get a picture of it on here whn you get it done mate ... and if you want some vids of it down the road like in the car :slayer:
