Hi guys,
Have done a search here but didn't find out exactly what I needed to know, so sorry if I overlap with any previously asked questions!
I have had a new head unit fitted into my Punto, but would like to also add a pair of 10cm rear speakers I've already bought to give me a bit more of a surround-sound feel (I need no advice on what speakers to get, or to swap out the front ones or anything, unless it's free, ta ).
Now, does the Punto already have speaker wiring into the boot? I've had a fiddle around under the carpet, and I've found one bundle of multicoloured wires and a single black cable on the passenger side near the rear seatbelt feeder. Neither came loose with a gentle tug, so are either of these my speaker wires, or just for the tail-lights? And if they are for the speaker, are spade connectors already on there?
Otherwise, how did any of you wire up your rears? I'm new to doing anything to my car and a bit too scared to mess something up...
Thanks!!!
Sara.
