Technical Dashboard warning light

Hey there i wonder if anyone can give me a hand, i've just had a dashboard warning light come up on my 95/96 petrol punto 55 SX and i have no idea what it means, its red and its looks like this (O) except the brackets are dashed lines. anybody got any idea? your help would be most appreciated

brake pad wear indicator light.

Low brake fluid level Check this ASAP as it may indicate a leak which is dangerous.
Could also be faulty handbrake switch (or you didnt take the handbrake off completely)
