I bought a used 2004 Fiat Punto Active (8v 1.2) last week and only my right rear fog light is working. I know that some cars only have one rear fog - is this the case with the Punto Mk2? Or do I need to put a new bulb in my rear left fog?

Cheers

Believe me, the mk2 is safer, it just feels safer to drive.

Agreed there, was positively scary until I got the alloys and wider Yokohamas on. Was still pretty scary in the wet with A539s, but s.Drives keep it manageable no matter what the weather.

To be honest though, a single fog light is probably better, since it doesn't get confused with the brake lights, unless you want some tail-hogging reject to think they are brake lights

I didnt check the reverse light yet but is it possible for me to put a bulb in myself or did they do away with the bulbholder as well?

Some cars do have the bulb-holder waiting there for you, but the mk2 isn't one of them. If you looks at the rear of your car, the reflectors are not symmetric, one has a clear patch (for the reversing light) where the other has a red-tinted patch in this same position (for the fog light... I think).
