Technical punto battery went flat now won't start

Just bought 'p' reg punto off mate who was going to scrap it for £30, battery went flat so we re-charged it,it turns over well but just won't start,we only have the blue key and think that it is the immobiliser that is stopping it, don't need immobiliser so what is the easiest way to get it going,someone has suggested changing loads of bits with a scrappy. please help

Can't see it being the immobiliser unless the code warning comes up.

Check for spark and fuel past the injector. Come back.
