i noticed a loud squeal coming from my driver side brake, its constant, but gets worser when braking, i toolk the wheal off and the disk has been ground down all the way around it in a line around the center. so im assuming there is something stu ck behind the pad or the pad is completly worn. the problem is that i cant remove the pin that holds the caliper in place, does anyone have advice on how to loosen it ? sorry if this is quite simple.

There's a little R clip on the pin. Pull this off, then use a small drift to knock the pin out (about 1/8" -- a centre punch will probably get it started so you can pull it out with pliers.

i got it sorted, the pads were worn right down to the metal so iv replaced them and its fixed. used a hammer to get the pin out, had already removed the smaller safty pin. thanks for the reply
