£205 for my Mk2 2yr/24000 service! :( Yes it was done at a dealer, personally have not got the time and patience to do it myself, although probably could of saved myself £100.

Nothing done extra, but did notice on the invoice and forgot to ask what Gasket they had replaced. Is this a normal item, couldn't find it in the handbook

Wondered is that price most people pay, or are my dealer (Alan Gibson Basingstoke) ripping me off?

2nd year Punto service at the Fiat dealer in Derby is £195 + £50 to change the brake fluid as Fiat say this should be done at 2nd year. This is stated on a service price schedule on the wall of the service reception

hi fiat guru here!!
more than likely they changed the rocker cover gasket!! the gasket from a dealer is about £6 +.
and the price is a bit over board :bang:

a little techincal error here, that would be the CAM cover gasget
afaik fiat have not made a car for the uk with a rocker cover for over 5 years :D

Brake fluid is changed ever 36k or 3 years.

Nope didn't touch the brake fluid and no charge for that, mind you brakes did feel more responsive. Think the charge was £3.99 + VAT for gasket, I'll dig out the invoice tomorrow.

Still happy, if I'd sent it to Cleveland Cars Aldershot, probably would of come out with more problems than before!
