(T) Changing a Reverse light switch???

Hi all, this is my first post on the forum and thought i'd start with a good one.
Having found out that my reverse light doesnt work, and having spent time playing with bulbs and fuses i've come to the conclusion my reverse light switch is faulty (had a play with it and reverse light worked for a bit then cut out again). Is it as easy as unscrewing it and replacing it with the new one, or is there more to it??

Any help would be greatly apprieciated

can any1 help me wiht this topic, i have made alot of searches and i cannot find anothing diy on how to fit a new reverse light switch,

its not the bulb whihc i have checked, i have not check the fuse, i will do if it is not that, i here that the other option is the reverse light switch, how do i replace it, and where is it. can some1 please direct me on how to do this, thank you

When I had this problem it was the wiring. Went to breakers, chopped off another plug and soldered it onto mine. Worked a treat.

Reverse light switch is on the gearbox selector mechanism. Unscrew, screw new one in.
