Technical Yet another Radio Code Thread

Hi All/Davren etc

The radio/cassette in my new (to me) punto says CHECK does this mean i just need the code or is it more serious?

I don't have a audio handbook - how do i actually enter the code???????

I have managed to get the radio out of the display and the codes are:

Fiat Punto Mid 7641374316
815 BP 137414736577

Thanks in advance for all your help - the silence is killing me on the A40!!

I will of course make a donation to the site - it's fab and already saved me the price of a fish supper!!

To be able to enter a code in your radio, the display should show " CODE " then " ----".

Try leaving the ignition and radio switched on for 2 hours to see whether the display changes.

I can get the code for your radio, but would suggest you try the above first to ensure you will be able to enter it.
