Styling Number plates

There is a whole list of rules on the MOT for number plates. All are Pass/Fail none can be advised (how is that safety related?). I had my bike failed on otherwise legal plates because there was no makers name and address. FFS. For the full monty go and ask your local MOT man.

if you've got a cop behind you you're definately gonna get pulled for them, i had the "I" for italian plates, the correct font, spacing, size, colour etc. got pulled 13 times in a year for having an "I" instead of GB so if they notice minor stuff like that they're definately gonna notice the wrong colour plates
so now i have my legal pressed ones from dubmeister :)

Fiat Punto...
Must be a young driver...
Who must be up to trouble / not insured / etc (oh yes :p )
Odd looking plates?
Perfect excuse to stop him

I used to have the same hassle with an old Mini 1000. It was safe and legal but scruffy so I was constantly stopped.
