btw its a punto 2004 mark2B

today on the way home i was waiting to turn at the lights and when i did eventually turn i went over a pothole doing about 10 mph, then a few secs later the red steering light came on and steering went hard... now ive turned the engine off twice and tried but it kept turning on. so now ive left it off but i want to know what could be the problem? or am i totally f*kd and its gna cost me a arm and a leg to repair?

steering was fine before thiss all the time ?

hi exactly the same happened to me today when i was turning around on asda car park the light came on and steering went heavy but i turned of the ignition and turned it back on and went for an hours drive and it was fine
not sure about the problem maybe some one else can help but this seems to be happening alot to people lately maybe its just the weather or a fiat punto problem ?

your lucky, man that steering is more heavier then my old 106 LOL

someone must know on here whats wrong so im gna wait patiently

you mean in the manual book or on here?

ive checked in manual, says take to dealer, but i wanted to know if anyone knew what it couldbe on here???

and if i shall carry on driving it?
