Hi, my engine fan is always coming on when the I turn on the engine. Also there is a slight juddering and rattling noise when revving as if its pulling back, my car is Fiat Punto 1.2 MIA 2002 reg.

I'll say it before anyone else does...

When was it last serviced and have you checked the oil level?

This is ALWAYS the best place to start an engine problem investigation.

The oil levels are ok, but i'm unsure when the last service of the car was. I took the car to kwik fit and they said that there was a bolt missing from the manifold cover, which could be causing the rattling...I dont know much about cars but i don't think it is this as the longer i drive the louder the rattling becomes. they also said that the engine fan always coming on could be becuase of a faulty sensor....when i first start the car and drive thats when the car seems to pull back when i rev as if theres no power, its really winding me up!!

OK, I'm sure you appreciate it can be hard to do an accurate analysis remotely, so what you can Post here will help everyone who pops in to Post some ideas.

Start by doing a proper full service, or getting one done. This will eliminate fuel filter blockage, air filter blockage & spark plug issues. The radiator fan being permanently on could indeed be the sensor.

Post again once done with some accurate details of the symptoms you have once the car is serviced.

Dont skimp the service. If the belts are suspect or who-knows-how-old get them changed or sod's law you will regret it. Also get the brake fluid and coolant changed.
