Hello, new member so not sure if I'm posting this in the right place!
Have Punto Active 2002 and am now living in France and need to change headlight beams. Replacement units are £250 and someone suggested you could turn something round in the headlamp to reflect the light the other way. I have looked at a post about changing the light bulb (by Ashley) and wonder if anyone has ever done this. Please bear in mind that although not stupid I am not mechanically literate!! Also when you say to make sure the power is off, how do you disconect the battery? (yes, that's how mechanical I am....).
Would appreciate any help and thanks in advance

Thanks for the tips but ebay is where they cost £250 and I am trying to source a scrapyard (not as easy as UK). I was hoping to save myself some money and thought somebody technical might have the answer. I'm sure the units are probably manufactured the same but twiddled slightly....somebody out there knows how!!!

You could look at ebay in other ebay countries too, you must be looking at brand new ones, surely there are some second hand ones, you will obviously will need to search in french or other language if you use another country.

Regarding changing the lights, they are sealed units and wouldn't be worth messing with them.

Thanks Paul - what a clever boy, I will take your advice.:worship:
