Hi-
I have a punto 60. I noticed the exhaust hanging off at the rear of the car a few weeks ago. I slid under and had a look, noticed I just have a bolt missing. I found one in my draw and it kept my exhaust in place for a week or so, just seemed the bolt was a tiny bit too small.

Does anybody know the size of this bolt or where online I can get hold of one. Tried several scrap yards that just laugh at me when asking for just the bolt.

Many Thanks in advance:worship:(y)

There's normally a rubber hanger suspending the exhaust from the car at the rear. Are you sure it's not this that is missing?

Any bolt of 8 or 10mm will do fine. Personally I fit stainless bolts with normal ferrous steel nuts because they dont corrode into a manky solid mess. Avoid stainless bolt and stainless nut, because the metal tends to self-weld (gall) and strips the threads. It's also inclined to shake loose.

My cat back system is bolted to the cat with two 10mm bolts. But I was naughty and used two x 8mm. The originals were rusted up and 8mm was all I had to hand.

It's now thumping on the floor so I need to get back and have another look.
