I have just bought an HGT JTD, but am missing the remote central locking of my old Punto. Does anyone know how much to fit this, and where to get it done? I suspect a Fiat dealer will cahrge a lot, but is that my only option?

Also, the car came with only one key. How much to get a duplicate?

Once I have achieved this, the car will be perfect!

Not sure on the remote central locking, but you can get a blank transponder key for under a tenner, you will need this cutting.

Then you will need the key code from fiat unless you have it upto £15 I've read for that.

Then you will need it programming into the car around £30

If you travel near Nottingham I've got a blank key and a programmer that can program the key once cut and you have the keycode.

I brought the key for my punto but couldn't wait to go through fiat for the keycode and broke the ecu trying to get it by other means so might be easier for me now to get a complete lockset + ecu+ keys, £30 for key and to program it if your interested
