This light decided to show itself this weekend on my '99ELX. AA came out and plugged a PC in - said it was one of the crankshaft sensors gone (the engine runs ok). However, the damn thing went out after the AA guy left!
I could book the car into my Fiat dealer, but has anyone here had this happen before? I'm wondering how much this is likely to cost, as I've already had to pay almost 900 quid to undo the damage done by a thief 2 weeks ago

hello, this happenened to me recently. i took it to the dealer and as my car was under warrenty they just replaced a small chip inside. so they told me. straight forward took 2 mins.
