General 75 quid for a rear bumper!?

Ive been looking for a colour coded rear bumper for my 5dr mk2 now for ages. I finally found a car on ebay that was breaking in my colour, rang the place up and they wanted 75, plus 20 for postage. Just for a standard colour coded, used rear bumper.

This hit my as hugely overpriced, iv seen them primed on ebay for 40, but obviously it would need spraying. Id already told them what colour i was after. Do you think theyve thought they could charge me more considering it was the colour i was after?

Absolutely.
What a ridiculas price.
I paid £20 each for front and rear. Don't get conned mate.

So annoying that i've finally found one, and they're charging ridiculous a price.

Well barter with them then. At the end of the day your probably the only person interested in it and they will starting the price high in A, the hope you just pay it, B, they are expecting to get knocked down to its true value. £50 would probably be a fair value for it as if you were taking a primered one in to get sprayed then you would be looking at another £100-150 for spraying.

Yeah, i had that in mind. Tried to knock them down. Even offered them 60 if theyd throw the little plastic inserts for the mirror covers.

Hi used bits for cars where cheap many years ago but now dealers know how much fiat charge so if this bumper is in good condition then its where £100 because fiat would charge £500. I took a customers car to Merc to get a Quote for little scrattch on the rear bumper £300 POUNDS Poulard
