Technical Local engineers say I should get my head welded, rusty coolant holes!

They said to get all the coolant holes weled and £10 for each hole and they'll do 1 for free so £70 but i'm like no way lol.
I looked closer and most of em are 'ok'.
they'd do the skim and gasket for £30 after.
really bad ones are on #1 :eek:
#2 is fine(y)
so is #3(y)
#4 looks kinda bad at the top hole:confused:
I'd get 3 holes welded i think. and does anyone know if welded is a good thing on aluminium heads...?
I googled about it and heard in every result that pre-heated of the head is required but they were about welding within the actual combustion area, but is it required for just coolant holes?

or should I just get a head from breakers or ebay?

Oh i forgot to add they said the machine won't work with the damaged holes, is that BS or what?
seems like they wanna rip me off and get am all welded
Hi never heard of this proceedure i would get a head from a good breakers Poulard
