i've been getting the brake fluid warning light on my punto mk2b recently & today i popped the bonnet to check the level & couldn't find the fluid reservoir.

when i look at the diagram in the user manual, the fluid bottle should be top right at the back, but there is only a large space where that should be, large enough that it looks like something should go in there.

i might be stupid, but am i looking in the wrong place, or is my reservoir actually missing?!

cheers, stef.

It's on the left as you look at the back. Make sure that the little filter insert is not stopping the fluid from passing down into the reservoir. It's a commo issue.:slayer:

Presuming the 2b, is the same as the mk2, its the clear, white tank at the back left of the bay. Its a combined clutch and brake and clutch, and uses dot4.

yeah, that's exactly whats happening... i was just coming on to ask about it, heh.

i take it i can just remove the little filter, then fill it up as normal?

cheers for everyone's help btw! (y)
