Just joined this forum, my first question is why is my Punto awkward to start first thing in the mornings?
I had my Fiat Punto 03 plate 1.9 JTD for just over three weeks now and the glow plug light was flashing for just about a minute after I started the engine so I got new glow plugs fitted a week ago. I thought brill no more struggling to start in the mornings. But now as the nights are getting colder and damper the new glow plugs seem not to have made any difference at all. The glow plug light now goes out after a couple of seconds and stays out until I come to start it again. Even when the engine is warm it takes a dozen turns to get the engine running again.:bang:
Can anyone shine a light on the situation in anyway or form, many thanks in advance.
