i had steels on my mk1, get black alloys mate
price... probs £20 from a scrappy :D

You want banded steels?

You find a decent steel wheel then send it off to get banded (widened).

nice one for the link bud, never heard of banding... gr8 idea..not cheap tho isit! mind you i suppose if they look amazing (which i suppose is kind of the aim for all wheels ) then its worth it as they do tend to look rather amazing.. satin black.. ftw! with some neg camber would look gr8... any ideas what width u can run withouth getting turnin/rubbing issues? (y)

Not alot depends on your drop, ET and tyres so pretty hard to say. 9j can be run on a punto with camber though.

hmm, mine's not dropped at all atm.. wonder what size wheels gav's running.. (search euro punto, its the silver mk2)

could always get the arches rolled and pulled a bit.. or just get a different car that i can get bigger wheels on :p

Depends how extreme you do. If you are going euro then what does handling matter? What exactly be going quick.

don't think i'll be going euro, just thought the wheels might be a nice touch with a little camber maybe then ;) ... might pop down to the scrappy in a bit to have a look for some steelies... any way of telling if they are good condish (other than not looking all rusty and mashed) as you can imagine i wouldn't want to buy a load of buckled wheels! :D
