When i was changing the PAS column on my punto a while back, i stupidly reconnected the battery before reconnecting the airbag (i was doing several jobs at once and needed to test something with the battery on, forgetting i hadn't reconnected the airbag.)

So now the airbag light is illuminated even with the airbag in. Theres no fault with the airbag system as the light wasn't illuminated before, its just 'remembered' the airbag was missing.

I have an ELM 327 interface, early version. Is there any software out there that can reset the airbag light via ELM or is it something completely different?

Anyone know anywhere in west yorkshire that'll do it cheap? how much should i expect to pay?
