I just did a long post (about 16 minutes about my problem, but my login timed out so now I’ve lost it (and it’s late)
IN summary.
Fuel injection system light been showing intermittent problems.
Before, flexing under bonnet connections helped.
So now I also re-mated some easily do-able connectors (both fuse boxes).
Each time the light stayed the same when turning ignition on (no cranking was performed).
So I decided to try starting – fired for half a second then nothing since.
Tried:
Battery off for 10 minutes.
Flexing connectors again.
Resetting fuel shut-off switch (didn’t seem to need it?).
Flexing throttle body ECU connectors.
Observations:
Not much smell of petrol around the exhaust pipe.
Heater fan does not operate any longer (fuse ok)
All other obvious fuses ok
No time to check fuel/sparks now.
HELP, any advice appreciated. Thanks.
